HCT created a modern, sophisticated, Bakelite travel atomizer, so fans of cult Parisian brand Diptique can carry their favorite fragrance on the go. HCT France orchestrated the project from initial concept through to engineering and manufacturing, working with compression molding company, Technicaps, as well as its own HCT metals and plastics facilities, to create the sleek and minimal pack. “Compression molded plastic possesses such a unique texture and weight,” says HCT creative director Rebecca Goswell. “It gives the pack an element of ‘retro luxe,’ which combined with the cleverly hidden magnetic closure and minimal aesthetic, captures the subtle complexity of the Diptique brand perfectly.”
